November 26th

Hi everybody! Thank you for the Thanksgiving emails. They made my whole week. :) My Thanksgiving was good.  My companion has been very sick, so we didn't get to do a turkey bowl or anything, but that's ok. We went to dinner at this really nice family in the ward's house, the Thompsons, with the elders and the senior missionaries. It was fun to have everyone there!  Dinner was super good! :)
I just found out a couple days ago that I have been selected to go to something called Leadership Training. It's a 4 day training in Richmond with President Perry! I am sooo excited. Some of my other missionary friends are going too, so I've been anxious to go! I will head over to Richmond tonight, and then I'll be at the training/conference until Friday.
FRIDAY... Jesse and Dalila are getting baptized! I attached a picture of us with them the night before I left. We had an investigator fireside/testimony meeting.  It was really good! I have been missing them a lot. They are just amazing, and I can't wait to go up to their baptism on Friday.  They also asked me to speak at it, and do a musical number. So I'm looking forward to that! :)
The work here is going well. We have a couple people to teach, and some potentials.  I'm always amazed (though, maybe I shouldn't be) at how certain things fall into place. God is in the details if our lives, and uses us to bless people in ways that we can't even imagine. I'm so thankful for that.
It's strange that Christmas is just around the corner... and my birthday. I already feel old out here, that's not going to help. haha. Anyways, this will be an exciting week, and I can't wait to tell you all about it next monday!
Until then - I love you all! Take care, and somebody...for the love... write me a letter. I'd really like that. :D
Love,
sister Skousen
