Dogs.

After my mission, it's quite probable that i will never own a pet. Ever. (Everyone remembers what happened to my bunnies and hamsters anyways, right?) This week the house-pet animal world has been trying to destroy me.  For some reason I get mistaken as either a scratching post, a dog-seat, or a lollipop.  None of which are favorable.  I also got chased by a dog this week.  Totally forgot I had a companion for a minute... because I just took off.  See ya later, I'm not sticking around to get chomped on. Psalms 22:20.

Moving forward.

Smithfield is great.  The branch members here are top notch, and they are teaching me a lot of how I want to be when I get home.  They are so good to us, so thoughtful and wonderful, always making sure we are looked after and have what we need.  We have been working our tails off night and day, rain or shine, sick and tired... and it's been paying off.  We found 5 investigators this week!  One of which is particularly ready for the gospel, and another one who is a practicing Buddhist. He invited us to his temple.  Turns out smithfield has a buddhist temple. I love getting to teach.  This gospel is such light to those who will pick it up, and I love seeing that light change people's lives and bring them closer to God.  This week we have seen many miracles, and I've been reminded more than ever just how aware Heavenly Father is if us.  He knows us and loves us and he is in the details of our lives.  I know this because I've seen him use me as an instrument in taking me to people that I don't know, giving me words to say that are not my own, and setting the timing so precisely that it could in no way be the result of my own intelligence.  This work is guided by the hand of the Almighty, and it's a privilege to be a part of it. I could not make a better investment to my life than these 18 months.  I'm hitting my halfway point this transfer - that's weird to think about.

Anyways, I hope you are all doing well, I love and miss you.  Keep up the important stuff, and don't let dumb things get in the way.  1 THES 5:5. Look it up!!!!!!
