Transfers!!!

Hi family! This has been a crazy week. Maybe the most fun week of my whole mission! I got to perform with elder Lovin at the Richmond christmas conference, and it turned out very nice! then I performed solo on Thursday at the Tidewater mission conference - I sang a song called the Gift - it turned out good I think! :)  I was nervous... but I did it. I recorded it (not the performance, but the song) and maybe I can send it to you.

 

I've been with Sister Banner and Sister Whittle all week in Newport News, my companion sister Goodrich ended up going home. I will miss her! This time with sister Banner and Sister Whittle has been SO much fun. I have always heard trios were hard, and my MTC trio was very hard, but this has been amazing!! We teach so well together, we get along and just laugh all the time. I'm soooo sad to leave! But we got transfer calls and....

This week has been so amazing. The sisters had me meet with one investigator in particular who has been meeting with missionaries for over a year and they haven't been able to get her to commit to be baptized. We had an INCREDIBLE lesson with her and, we set her for baptism! She seems solid. There's more to the story, but little (big) things like that help me realize that the Lord really does put us in places fora reason, even if it's just for a little while.  They said that they've never been able to be as bold as I was with her and say some of the things I said, but it was just a beautiful discussion and the spirit was so strong. I'm so sad to leave Newport News.

 

Anyways, I'll give you all the details on my new greenie and area next week!! I am not sure when/where I'll be able to call or anything, I'll have to figure it out when I get to my new spot on Thursday.
