Best Week Ever!!!

Hey Family! So this week was amazing. I was at leadership training all week in Richmond, and then had Jesse and Dalila's baptism on Friday! It doesn't get any better than that. Leadership was awesome, and I learned a LOT. President kept saying that it's our responsibilty to help people have true conversion, and to do that, we need to help people learn how to act for themselves intead of being acted upon. We are the conservators of truth! And the conservators of truth are the keepers of the vision... and the vision is the Doctrine of Christ.  It's about becoming something. There's so much I want to share but not enough time to do it.

The baptism was amazing.  Elder Lovin and I sang at it. The spirit was so strong. I cried... a lot. I swear I never cried this much outside of my mission! I've turned into a big baby. I attached some pics of the baptism.  It was so beautiful, and Jesse and Dalila both bore their testimonies at the end, and they were powerful.  They both described it as the happiest day of their lives!  It's incredible to see how much the ordinance of baptism means to someone who hasn't know it.  Dalila kept describing this gospel as the light that she has been missing. Ahhh it was amazing! Beyond words. These two will be SOLID.

My friend and investigator in H'burg came to the baptism too. He gave me a card that might be the nicest thing anyone has ever given me... He told me how I made a difference for him because I loved him without knowing him. He said that my love for him opened his heart to hear God's words. And at the end, he wrote "IT IS TRUE." (he used to tease me because I said that phrase a lot). I don't know if he will get baptized, but it really meant a lot to me that he gave me this card.  It's the simple things that make a difference and mean a lot I think.

Anyways, this was an outstanding week. One of the best. The joy that comes when people enter into the baptismal convenant is undescribable. There are angels in heaven rejoycing. I could almost hear them, and I could definitely feel them. Remember especially this time of year how much we have to be thankful for - mainly our convenants, because they bless us so much. Keeping and making convenants increases our faith. I love this gospel so much and I'm so privilaged to be a vessel to carry it to the people here.

Love you all so much!
next week is Jake's Bday... party hard for me!
